There was a large military vehicle driven by Michael Briggs carrying children, one motorcycle (a member of the American Legion), a couple of VFW trucks with members, a church group walking, scouts leading the parade, horse riders, three horse drawn carriages for veterans to ride, a couple antique vehicles, a few county officials, a church van and a school bus.

Read moreThanks to White Hall Grocery, White Hall Café, White Hall Community VFD along with Salem Lutheran Church for inviting children to do their trick or treating in a safe environment. The Truck or Treat at the VFD had more visitors than last year. I like visiting with the children and parents. My great-grandson Kohen looked cute in his bull rider outfit. He had to have new boots, vest and jeans because he is getting so tall. My homemade chaps were just the right length. He ditched the big black cowboy hat for a plastic VFD hat and wanted to check out the fire trucks. Ken Cox invited him to sit in one and he was excited. For volunteers who worked to make this all happen, thank you.
