BRENHAM – Friends of Bluebonnet Opry welcomes Tony Booth and Kari Hlavinka March 16, at Silver Wings Ballroom.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the show begins at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $8 each and are sold at the door. A portion of the proceeds benefit Hospice Brazos Valley. Bluebonnet Opry hosts concerts every third Thursday of the month.

Texas Department Public Safety Sergeant Justin Ruiz stated at approximately 1:20 p.m., a 2011 Freightliner 18-wheeler was traveling eastbound on Texas 105. A 2016 Chevrolet Malibu traveling southbound on FM 159 ran the stop sign and struck the rear of the trailer in tow by the Freightliner.

Last season Braxton, the son of Eugene and Riley Castillo, played his first season of baseball, but over the summer life threw him a curveball. While celebrating July Fourth, Braxton injured his shoulder. He complained about shoulder pain that would come and go, despite numerous x-rays, injuries were not evident.
