Read moreThe annual fundraiser for Iola Volunteer Fire Department was held at Francines’s Country Pavillion March 8 and 9 with good attendance. A good time was had by all. I have no idea how much was raised but the money raised will help benefit the department. Thanks to all that assisted in any way. The weather was cold both days but is getting better.

Read moreGoing out Saturday sure was fun. It doesn’t take much to make me happy. I got to visit with relatives at the wedding of Jennifer Schroeder and Casey Connor. They were married at Zion Lutheran Church in Anderson. I had never met him, but it didn’t take much to figure out his personality. He fits in with his fun craziness and seems to really care about our Jennifer, which is what matters.
