The Anderson VFD Steak Dinner is Saturday, April 20 at the St. Stanislaus Parish Hall in Anderson. Dinner begins at 6 p.m. and plates are $20. Highway 6 is not much better. The safety lane for entry on Hwy. 6 from FM 2988 is supposed to assist with safe driving. On my way home one day, a person turned right onto 6 from 2988 but not in the safety lane, all the way to the left lane.
