I apologize, I had the incorrect date for Memorial Day in my article last week. The correct date is May 27. I should have remembered that date since my daughter, Kacie, and son-in-law, Butch, both have birthdays that day. And, if I remember correctly, my neighbor and friend Kathy Wells shares the same day.

Read moreKeith Civic Club held their monthly meeting at Keith Community Center April 25 with a fair number of members and visitors in attendance. The covered dish meal was enjoyed by all. There was a good discussion about the garage sale that happened last weekend. There were all sorts of things sold. The money raised will help pay for civic club items. Thanks to all that helped in any way.

Read moreKnights of Columbus Anderson Council 4054 is planning a Spring Festival at KC Hall Sunday, May 5. A chicken and sausage dinner will be served beginning at 11:30 a.m. Plates are $15 and include a garden salad, potato salad, baked beans, drink and dessert. The live auction begins at 1 p.m. There will also be a silent auction, music, games and a children’s zone with plenty of activities.
