A ceremony in recognition of Child Abuse Awareness Month was held at Grimes County Business and Justice Center April 5. Member of the Grimes County Child Welfare Board and representatives from Scotty’s House spoke about child abuse awareness, and blue pinwheels were placed to honor children affected by child abuse.

The fundraiser will be held at St. Stanislaus Parish Hall, 1511 Highway 90 South, in Anderson. A Ribeye steak dinner with all the trimmings is $20 per plate and begins at 6 p.m. A live auction will be held at 7 p.m. Raffle tickets for the 10 Guns for $10 drawing are also available.
