Home for the Holidays Dec. 11

Tis the season for holiday cheer and hometown celebrations. The City of Navasota will host their annual “Home for the Holidays” winter event at the City Hall Plaza in downtown Navasota Saturday, Dec. 11.

Home for the Holidays includes free hot chocolate and cookies beginning at 10 a.m. Children’s activities, also free, include inflatables, ice skating and other fun activities from noon till 4 p.m. Santa Claus will be in town for photos from noon till 5 p.m.

The fun continues with the annual lighted Christmas Parade on Washington Avenue at 6 p.m. The parade will begin on Brosig Avenue and continue through downtown Navasota. Parade entries are still being accepted through Monday, Dec. 6.

Following the parade, attendees are encouraged to walk to Navasota City Hall Plaza for the lighting of the Christmas tree. Christmas music will be provided by the Navasota High School Choir.
