Keith Civic Club fundraiser April 22
Hope all of you had a wonderful Easter service with your family members and friends. Hope everything went well with them.
Evergreen Baptist Church was filled with an overflow crowd of members and visitors. There were over 100 in attendance. A time of fellowship before the morning worship service included a meal with breakfast tacos, donuts and juice.
Our Pastor, Jeff Morgan, his wife Diana, and son Tanner, spent the week in Daytona, FL. to watch the National Cheerleaders Meeting. Pastor Morgan’s daughter Bailei cheers for East Texas Baptist College. Her team won second place. They all had a wonderful time and were back for service at Evergreen Baptist Church Sunday, April 9.
More travelers from the church were Janice Compian, Buzz Galvan and his wife Nicole, and Colbie Galvan went to Nocona to watch Colbie participate in Little Dribblers. Her team won third place.
There was a Sunrise Service at Zion Cemetery in Iola Sunday, April 9. The turnout was good, and the weather was wonderful. Iola Missionary Baptist Church was in charge of the service and music was led by Dr. Tim Owens. The message was delivered by Jerry McMahon. A meal was served as well.
Keith Civic Club is hosting a garage sale at Keith Community Center Saturday, April 22, beginning at 9 a.m. Lots of good household items will be available. Come out and make some good buys.
Keith Civic Club had their bake sale Saturday, April 8. They were sold out by noon. Thanks to all that baked goodies and those who purchased them.
