Confederate History and Heritage month

Sons of Confederate Veterans’ Grimes Country Greys along with many other Texas Division Camps recognized Confederate History and Heritage month April 8, at the Confederate Memorial Plaza in downtown Anderson. SCV members and guests were amazed by the displays of memorabilia set up in the Confederate Memorial Plaza. They also toured the beautiful, historic Grimes County Courthouse and Fanthorp Inn State Historic Site. The Confederate Memorial Plaza was created 23 years ago by the SCV Grimes County Greys Camp 924.
