Grimes County Animal Rescue is looking for volunteers to help at the new facility. You can walk the dogs, socialize with the animals and more.

The 11th Annual Plantersville Crawfish Festival and Cook-Off is Saturday, April 29, beginning at 11:30 a.m.

Free Groceries are available every third Thursday of the month, 11 a.m. at Relay Station in Plantersville for families in Plantersville/Stoneham/Todd Mission.

Save the date for the Yard, Arts and Crafts Show at the Bedias Civic Center, 3652 E. Main St. in Bedias on April 29, from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. They also need vendors.
