Hopefully all of you made it through the first really cold spell of the season. It really got bad for a few days. Temperatures dropped to 17 degrees Jan. 16. Hope everyone that was able to, stayed home in a warm place. Hopefully that will be the last of the really bad weather. Some dumpsites were closed due to the weather. Some were also closed while some started late. Some people had to stay with others so they could stay warm.

As I sit here earlier than normal this morning, I’m trying to keep calm, because after all, I do have electricity now. However, that does not guarantee consistent power. Yesterday evening the power was out for over two hours. Once it came on, I made sure to drip my faucets to assure no frozen pipes.
