It has been several tough days hearing about all the people who passed away. Mrs. Lois Feldmann Bell who lived in Pasadena with her son passed away. She was a longtime member of Salem Lutheran and resident of White Hall. She loved playing dominoes with the Sonshine Sisters and was one of the original members. We used to giggle and say she would change the rules to win. But she was competitive.

The Grimes County Mobile Food Bank will be open Thursday, June 13 from 10–11:30 a.m. in the back–parking lot of the Grimes County Fairgrounds in Navasota. Any resident of Grimes County will be served and will only need to show their driver’s license when they complete the once–a–year Client Assistant Intake form. Iola High School held their graduation ceremony at the high school gym on May 24. There was a full house to watch the 37 graduates. Many of them received scholarships to various colleges. Some plan to enter the workforce. May God bless all of them.
