Navasota welcomes new Marketing and Communications Director
The City of Navasota is pleased to welcome Bobbie Lehrmann as Navasota’s new Marketing and Communications Director.
As the Marketing and Communications Director, Lehrmann’s key responsibilities will include collaborating with community partners and business owners to promote Navasota, organizing major City events, creating and managing social media content, and serving as the voice and face of the City of Navasota to help share the Navasota story. Lehrmann join’s the City of Navasota’s executive leadership team and will work closely with Economic Development Director, Rayna Willenbrink, and City Manager, Jason Weeks.

Her professional background in marketing along with her excitement and passion for serving the local community will help Navasota continue to positively grow and move forward.”
Lehrmann is a marketing professional who has worked with multiple companies and brands to showcase and tell meaningful stories. She fosters customer relationships through social media, content marketing and public relations. Her passion for visual storytelling and creating a meaningful customer experience has made her successful.
Lehrmann grew up in Australia, where she has multiple years of professional marketing experience in an international context, and recently relocated to Texas to be with her family. Her educational background includes a Bachelors degree in Media Communications and Journalism as well as a Diploma of Languages in Italian.
Lehrmann comes to the City of Navasota most recently from Citizens State Bank where she currently serves as the organization’s Marketing Coordinator. She developed Citizens State Bank’s marketing plan and strengthened the organization’s overall brand. During her time at the bank, she represented the institution across the Brazos Valley, by serving on the Chambers of Commerce in all three counties across the bank’s trade territories, including serving as an Ambassador for the Navasota Grimes County Chamber of Commerce.
During her tenure at the bank, she initiated and improved the bank’s overall digital image, as well as headed the development, design, and content creation of the bank’s soon-to-be launched website. Lehrmann also has a passion for the communities she serves; assisting in their growth, volunteering at chamber events and most recently to note, volunteering with the Burleson County Chamber of Commerce to help with the design and publication of their first magazine.
“Her skills and expertise in branding and passion for community engagement will move the City forward as we establish a marketing plan and increase awareness of the ‘Navasota So Much So Close’ brand,” commented City Manager, Jason Weeks. “We are thrilled to welcome Bobbie to the Navasota team.”
Lehrmann will officially join the City of Navasota Tuesday, Feb. 22.
