Salem Lutheran Church Easter Egg Hunt April 8
The annual Fish Fry fundraiser hosted by Salem Lutheran Church was a success. It was nice to see the people who came and especially seeing them visiting with others. Thanks to each person who came to support the church and to members who helped by organizing, cooking, bringing desserts and cleaning. Personally, I want to thank Ken and Bonnie Cox for taking the lead to make this event happen.
Salem Lutheran Church will host an Easter Egg Hunt Saturday, April 8, from 9:30 until 11 a.m. Bring your children, grandchildren, neighbors and yourself to enjoy a little fun.
Union Grove Baptist Church, 15301 FM 362 in Navasota, will host a special Easter service Sunday, April 9. Service begins at 10:30 a.m. Sunday school classes for children, youth and adults will begin at 9:15 am. Come celebrate our risen Savior!
April 14 is the Relay for Life celebration on the front lawn of Navasota City Hall grounds from 6:30-10 p.m. Luminaria bags are available for $5 each to honor a loved one or in memory. The theme is “Saddle Up & Run Cancer Outta Town!” Everyone is invited to attend.
Union Grove Baptist Church will host a youth roller skate Sunday April 16, from noon to 5 pm. After morning service, the youth will go to Silver Wings Ballroom, 4100 SH 105 in Brenham. Admission is provided. For more information email uniongrove362@gmail.com
The annual White Hall Birthday Bash is Saturday, April 22. There will be a car show and BBQ chicken plates. Gun raffle tickets are available at the White Hall Store and at the event. Hope to see you there!
White Hall Icehouse and Café is hosting a BBQ cookoff April 29-30. A portion of proceeds will benefit White Hall VFD and White Hall Community Center.
