Rattlers tee-off in Columbus

COLUMBUS - The Navasota High School Golf team competed in the Columbus Invitational Feb. 13-14.
The Rattler Boys placed second as a team with a score of 368, behind Flatonia who scored 363. Competing for Navasota were Anden Nobles, Gio Jennings, Hudson Minor, Camden Dacus and Aaron Pratho. Competing as medalists for Navasota were Jullian Jennings and Jason Magee.
Gio Jennings finished third overall shooting a career-best 84. Nobles finished with an 87, followed by Dacus (97), Minor (100) and Pratho (112). Gio Jennings- 84 Hudson Minor- 100 Camden Dacus- 97 Aaron Pratho 112. Jullian Jennings carded a 112 and Magee shot a 110, both as individuals.
Madison Glaze and Chelsea Glaze shot a personal best 112 for the Lady Rattlers. Chelsea Glaze shot a 125.
Both boys and girls will compete in La Grange this week and at the Brenham Invitational the following week.
