Rattler freshman have big game from Booker

It was a historic night for Navasota freshman, Derrick Booker, who matched his jersey number with five touchdowns in the Rattler freshmen’s 36–24 win over La Grange Sept. 256. 

The offensive line, led by Jose Garcia and Andre Pimentel, played a pivotal role in the victory by dominating the line of scrimmage all night.  

Defensively, the Rattlers (4–1) played well. Khriztian Perez and Jaydon Thomas each recorded interceptions, halting La Grange’s momentum and showcasing their ability to read the opposing offense. In a crucial moment late in the fourth quarter, Caysien Douglas sealed the victory for Navasota with an interception in La Grange territory.
