Lady Owls soar into playoffs

Anderson-Shiro flew into the playoffs with a perfect 12-0 record in District 23-3A.

The Lady Owls tipped-off against the Van Vleck Lady Leopards Feb. 14, at Sealy High School (results were not available at press time). The winner advances to the Area Round to face the Pineywoods Community Academy Timberwolves. The Timberwolves defeated East Chambers 46-26, on Feb. 13.

Lady Owls vs Shepherd

Anderson-Shiro closed out district play with a 55-29 win over Shepherd. The Lady Owls had three double-digit scorers. Gabby Goudeau finished with 13 points followed by Shelbi Belinowski with 12 and Zoe Hayes with 10. Camary Jackson grabbed 11 rebounds in the game.
