TFRW address GCRW
The Grimes County Republican Women (GCRW) will hear from two women from the Texas Federation of Republican Women (TFRW) on how we can work together to educate our community and advocate at local and State levels for our values.
Amy Mundy is the Texas Federation of Republican Women (TFRW) SD 18 District Director. She has been involved with her hometown club Victoria County Republican Women for over 23 years and has served as president, vice president, membership chair and most recently past president. She has served as the TFRW Scholarship Chair and on the TFRW Committee for Immigration reform. She serves as a precinct chair for the Victoria County Republican Party and has been attending state conventions since 2002. She has also volunteered for many local, state, and federal campaigns.
When Amy is not engaging in politics, you can find her at Victoria College, where she has worked for over 10 years. As the Executive Director of Victoria College Advancement, she oversees grant development, scholarships, community relations and legislative affairs. Amy currently serves on the board of Texas Association of Community College Foundations, Golden Crescent Habitat for Humanity, Victoria Police Foundation and Victoria Main Street Program. She was featured in the Victoria Advocate Business Review Magazine in 2021, awarded the Chamber of Commerce Committee Chair of the Year in 2013, JLV Sustainer of the Year in 2021 and the Remarkable Hero Award in 2023 for her contributions to the community.
Sherry Fauth is a founding member of GCRW and currently serves as TFRW Deputy President, Region VII. She is a proud UH graduate & a retired CPA. Sherry also serves as Treasurer of Grimes County Republican Party and works as an Election Judge in Plantersville. She has attended many national & state conventions and has volunteered for several local, state, & federal campaigns.
GCRW invites you to attend our meeting at New Hope Church, 7908 N Hwy 6 Loop, in Navasota. A pre-lunch social begins at 11 a.m., followed by lunch, ($10 per person), speaker, and business meeting at 11:30.
