Suara wins GC Spelling Bee

Fourteen students converged on the stage at the Brosig Performing Arts Center in Navasota Tuesday, Feb. 15, to compete for Grimes County Spelling Bee championhip.

Students competed at their respective campuses earning the right to compete against other Grimes County students. Daniel Suara, a sixth-grader at Navasota Junior High, earned top honors spelling employment correctly for the win.

Finishing in second-place is Kyleigh Bradicich, a fifth-grader at Iola Elementary and Michael Hall, a sixth-grader at Anderson-Shiro Junior High, finished in third-place.
