Dancers compete in Houston

Navasota High School Diamonettes and Navasota Junior High Fang Dancers teams competed at the Ascension North Houston Dance Challenge at Cypress Park High School Saturday, Feb. 19, and earned many awards.

Solo Finalists: (9th-10th Grade) 3rd Runner Up - Kimora Flores; (11th Grade) 4th Runner Up - Leah Garcia;

Officer Awards: Challenge Elite; Best in Class Hip Hop – 1st Place and Lyrical - 2nd Runner Up; Judges Award;

Team Awards: Overall Grand Champion-Runner Up; Challenge Elite; Grand Champion-1st Runner Up; Best in Category-Pom; Best in Class Jazz-1st Runner Up, Military-1st Place, and Pom-1st Place; Judges Award;
