RICHARDS — Richards Independent school District is making history as the first Grimes County school district to implement a 4–day week. Board of Trustees unanimously approved the calendar at the March 20, meeting. In addition to a shortened week, schoolboard members voted to extend the 6–week grading period to 9 weeks.
