The Navasota ISD Education prize patrol awarded over $29,000 in grants throughout the district Dec. 1. Grants ranged from bicycles for special needs students, sewing machines for theatre arts costumes, virtual field trips and more.

Members of the Navasota ISD Education Foundation paraded through the hallways across the district distributing grants. The Foundation distributed $29,921.76 in the form of teacher and campus-wide grants. Teacher grants totaled $21,522.76 and campus-wide grants totaled $8,399.
