Once the holiday season ends, January arrives. A few events planned for January include McClusky Post 640 Legion fundraiser set for Jan. 13; the annual Crime Stoppers Banquet set for Jan. 20; and the last weekend of January brings Go-Texan. Mark your calendars now.
A wedding shower was held Saturday for Tyler Wetuski and Paige Binford at Plantersville Town Hall. Their wedding date is Feb. 3, 2024.
We have so many family and friends that have lost someone they love this year or friends that are very ill. It seems sad things tend to happen more during holiday seasons, or it just seems to be that way. So, remember, there are moments in life when you miss someone so much that you just want to pick them from your dreams and hug them for real. Dream what you want to dream, go where you want to go, be what you want to be, because you have only one life and one chance to do it all. Remember to always pray for those who are not as fortunate as you.
