Our beloved Mitzi Ward Byars, 63 of Plantersville, passed away Monday, February 28, at her home. Visitation with family and friends was held Wednesday, March 2, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., at Nobles Funeral Chapel. A celebration of her life was 2:00 p.m., Thursday, March 3, also at the funeral home with interment immediately following in Plantersville Cemetery. Joe Hejl officiated. Arrangements were under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel.

George was born on November 14, 1940 in Hickory, Mississippi, to George Williford Massey and Lillie Dew Griffin Massey.
