With support from the community, Anderson VFD helped numerous families celebrate Christmas with a toy drive. Toys were delivered to Anderson-Shiro second graders and to the Grimes County District Attorney’s Office. Dollar General in Anderson allowed a box to be placed in-store to serve as a drop-off location. Plantersville Stoneham Volunteer Fire Department held their annual Community Christmas Party Saturday, Dec. 3. They distributed 106 presents to local children and fed 150 people. The PSVFD thanks the volunteers and the local community for supporting their yearly efforts.
