Roans Prairie rear-end collision

ROANS PRAIRIE - DPS Troopers responded to an accident Wednesday afternoon, Dec. 28, that severed the finger of one of the victims.

At approximately 5:15 p.m. a Mitsubishi SUV and Nissan SUV were traveling northbound on Highway 90 near Luthe Road in Roans Prairie. The Mitsubishi attempted to make a left turn and was rear-ended by the Nissan.

The driver of the Mitsubishi was transported to Memorial Herman Hospital with a severed finger but is expected to survive. The driver of the Nissan was transported to St. Joseph Hospital in Bryan and treated for unknown injuries.
