Navasota Junior High Fang runners participated in the Becker Best Cross Country Meet in Anderson Wednesday, Sept. 21.

Seventh-grader, Serenity Taylor, finished the difficult 2-mile run in fifth place with a time of 16:53. There were 93 runners participating. The top seventh-grade boy was Josiah Watson, who finished 23^rd out of 97 runners with a time of 19:12. 

Other notable finishes for the Fangs include;  8^th Grade Girls – Amira Randhawa, 33^rd out of 105 (19:12); 8^thGrade Boys – Yareth Lopez, 11^th out of 117 (14:46).
