Lady Bulldogs continue success

The top-ranked Iola Lady Bulldogs continue to work hard improving to 28-2 on the season. Iola wrapped up non-district with wins over Lovelady and Livingston. On Tuesday, Sept. 13, the Lady Bulldogs beat the Lovelady Lady Lions 3-0 (25-12, 25-12, 25-4). Leading with 22 kills was junior, Lindsey Gooch. Riley Goodney and Shaylee McKown were Iola’s leading servers. vs Livingston

The Iola Lady Bulldgos traveled to Livingston Friday, Sept. 16. They sealed a 3-0 win over the Livingston Lady Lions (25-18,257, 25-15). Gooch led Iola in kills, followed by Abree Raley.

The Lady Bulldogs began district play against Round Top-Carmine Tuesday, Sept. 20 (results were not available at press time). Friday, Sept. 23, the Iola Lady Bulldogs will drive to Centerville to play the Lady Tigers, starting at 4 p.m.
