Greenhouse, Wright, earn Eagle Scout

Two Boys Scouts, Justin Greenhouse and Drake Wright, from Troop 361 in Navasota earned Eagle Scout honors. Both are graduates of Navasota High School. Justin, the son of John and Claudia Greenhouse, completed an Eagle Scout project benefitting the Brazos Valley Child Advocacy Center. He wanted children to have a sense of normalcy, so he created duffle bags filled with a blanket, toothbrush kit, an activity book and markers. Drake, the son of John and Beverly Pledger Wright, created an Eagle Scout project benefitting the Grimes County Courthouse. He prepared a Fallen Officer's Memorial Tree and repurposed landscaping for the memorial and helped preserve existing buildings around the memorial. Courtesy photo
