Gone but not forgotten

Hundreds of family members, friends, community and fire departments celebrated the lives of Ronald and Donna Busse Wednesday Feb. 2. The former Navasota Fire Chief and his wife lost their lives tragically in a house fire Jan. 21, at their home in Navasota. Their celebration of life was held at the Grimes County Expo Center and their bodies were escorted by firefighters, law enforcement and tow trucks. They were transported on the back of a Busse Wrecker Services truck, a business they owned. Examiner photos by Matthew Ybarra
