Officer of the Year

Dominguez was vital in saving the life of DPS Trooper Juan Tovar who was shot in the eye by mass shooter Larry Bol lin who killed one person and injured five others. Senator Lois Kolkhorst embraces Christopher Ramirez who was lost in the woods for three nights near Todd Mission. Kolkhorst was the guest speaker at the annual Grimes County Crime Stoppers Dinner Saturday, Jan. 15. Kolkhorst presented Grimes County Sheriff's Sgt.
