On Sunday, Jan. 30, the forum will focus on Texas State Representative District 12 Republican challengers Ben Bius and Joshua Hamm and incumbent Kyle Kacal.
As a result of redistricting, Grimes County will be in House District 12 and voters are tasked with casting votes in 2022 for a state representative to take office Jan. 1, 2023. Iola resident State Representative Ben Leman remains as District 13’s legislative representative until his term ends Dec. 31, 2022.
