Fangs battle Huntsville

NAVASOTA 7TH GRADE FOOTBALL AT HUNTSVILLE

7th Grade A Team Navasota 25, Huntsville 0;

The Fangs used great passing by DeKavion McGinty who connected with Jabari Burrell numerous times. Jamarlon Mooring had another great all-around performance. Cade Zaragoza was the offensive lineman of the game.

Evan Magallon had some great stops at linebacker and the Fangs had lockdown coverage from Aviyen Whitley on the outside.

7th Grade B Team

Huntsville 32, Navasota 27;

Down 26-6 at half, Navasota battled back and had a chance to win it before stalling out at the goal line on the last drive. Eduardo Castaneda stepped in at quarterback after an injury and helped lead a great comeback effort.

The Fangs had big runs from Luis Vazquez. Defensive player of the game was Luis Vazquez who had a big interception.

8th Grade A Team

Huntsville 24, Navasota 24;

8th Grade B Team

Navasota 14, Huntsville 13;

The Fangs won a barn burner on a Geovanni Perez extra-point kick.
