TMVFD participates in benefit 5K
Todd Mission VFD is proud to announce their partnership with Dan’s House of Hope, a 501c3 nonprofit that benefits cancer patients between the ages of 15-30. They participated in their annual 5k fun run/walk and intensified it by making it a station 5k bunker gear challenge. All registration proceeds benefitted the cancer patients. In honor of Dan, Todd Mission VFD walked with his photograph. They also walked for Robert Faltisek, Michelle Miller and in loving memory of Sean Leffler. The department plans to participate yearly and will open the door for other departments to participate in the spring.
The family of Christopher Ramirez is absolute they are not asking for donations or a GoFundMe account and wants the public to know. The sheriff’s office passed the information to the FBI and their Public Information Officer. Please DO NOT donate or fall victim to any scam attempts. This is sad that people would do this and I plea for anyone to not participate with donation requests and report any attempts to the Grimes County Sheriff’s Office.
