Louisiana man killed in wrong way crash
A wrong way crash claimed the life of a Louisiana man Friday morning, Sept. 3 on Texas State Highway 6 South.
Kendall Anthony Jones, 31, of Hourna, Louisiana was killed when his 2016 Cadillac SUV was struck by a 2000 Ford pickup truck.
According to Department of Public Safety spokesperson Justin Ruiz, at approximately 5:45 a.m., the Ford truck was traveling northbound on Texas State Highway 6 and went across the grassy center median crashing into the Cadillac driving in the southbound lane. Jones was pronounced deceased on the scene by Brazos County Justice of the Peace Kenney Elliot.
The driver of the Ford, Louis Fredrick Jr., 35, of Waller, was taken by medial helicopter to St. Joseph Health Regional Hospital with serious injuries.
The accident is still under investigation..
