Veterans are heroes that make sacrifices to ensure that we live in a free protected world. Grimes County Veterans of Foreign War Post 4006 salutes veterans and provides them with services and a place to connect with other veterans. The Grimes County VFW has offered services to veterans for 75 years and celebrated their Diamond Anniversary with a huge celebration Saturday, Jan. 11. For more photos, see page 9.
