More men’s basketball

University of Louisiana at Lafayette sophomore Trajan Wesley had five assists and four points against South Alabama. In making his ninth consecutive start, the Navasota resident also had two rebounds and one steal.

Junior starter Jabril Hunter of Wilberforce University had seven points against Haskell. The former Rattler had six rebounds and one steal.

Men’s rodeo

Anderson-Shiro High graduate Paden Hurst finished first in the second round of bareback riding at the Texas Circuit Finals in Waco and earned $2,056. He placed fourth in the average to take home $771.

Women’s basketball

Keaundra Eddings of Blinn College had four rebounds against Collin County Community College. The Navasota alumna added two points and one steal.

Previously at Anderson-Shiro, D’Asia White had three rebounds and three points for McMurry University against LeTourneau. The freshman had one assist and one steal.
