Go Texan Days Jan. 24-26
It’s time to put on the boots, fire up the pits and prepare for a great time while helping a great cause. Plenty of good country fun and food will be on hand at the Grimes County Fairgrounds the last weekend in January for the annual Grimes County Go Texan.
The focus is on the family with events scheduled for all ages. Barbecue and chili cooks from all around will try to capture first place and a trip to the 2021 Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. With showmanship and first- class cooking, arts and crafts, concessions, dances, contests and much more, the event will keep you entertained in the rolling hills of Grimes County just 70 miles northwest of Houston.
