ANDERSON- Anderson-Shiro Owl varsity basketball coach Barry Bennett resigned from his position with the district Tuesday, Jan. 7.
Anderson-Shiro Superintendent Scott Beene stated Bennett resigned for personnel reasons. “As with any personal matter, the district will not release details of the investigation, but I will confirm it in no way involved students or other staff members of the district,” explained Beene.
Beene initially confirmed Monday, Jan. 6, that an investigation was launched by the district, but didn’t state for what matter.
