Experiencing 1850s Texas

Visitors experienced a trip back in time at the annual Twilight Firelight event held in Anderson Saturday, Nov. 30. Those in attendance were able to tour the historic Grimes County Courthouse and visit the Confederate Memorial Park on one side of town, then board a stagecoach for a memorable trip to Fanthorp Inn. Lanterns and fire greeted visitors and multiple activities awaited them including a story teller, dance lessons, live music and tours of the historic Inn.
