November is Alzheimer Awareness and National Family Caregivers month.
The Renaissance Festival began Oct. 5 and runs through Dec. 1. Children get free admission on Sundays. Be careful in the traffic and around construction.
Veterans needing flu shots can get a free flu vaccine at Walgreens until March 31, 2020. To receive the free vaccine, veterans need to have their Veterans Health ID card and have one other form of ID.
The Plantersville-Stoneham Bunch annual fundraiser will be held Thursday, Nov. 21, at 6:30 p.m. They are accepting donations, desserts, door prizes and items for auction. They also need volunteers. UC Out and About will be held Saturday, Dec. 14, at Bernhardst Winery, 9043 CR 204 in Plantersville from noon till 6 p.m.
Charm and Sewing 4-H Club
Sock Drive for senior citizens. Donate two pair of socks or one package of socks. They may also be dropped off to the Grimes Texas A&M AgriLife Extension office, 203 Veterans Memorial, Navasota.
