Deputy (retired) Andrew “Cap” Turner, Jr. went to be with the Lord Tuesday, October 29, 2019. Mr. Turner was born on May 1, 1929 to Andrew Sr. and Lillie Mae Sabb Turner.

Andrew worked for the Navasota Police Department for 24 years and for the Grimes County Sheriff’s Division for 20 years. He officially retired in 2014, receiving a Lifetime Award for serving in law enforcement from government agencies of Grimes County.

Services for Cap were 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 4, 2019, at Oakland Cemetery in Navasota.
