The first 9-weeks...
Superintendent’s Update
Today marks the end of the first 9-week grading period at Navasota ISD. That means that we are ¼ or 25% of the way through the school year already! Well, kinda. Because the Spring semester is really longer than the Fall semester, and the first two 9-weeks in the Fall are really just 8 weeks. But still, one of our four grading periods is in the gradebooks!
One of the greatest basketball players of all time, Larry Bird, was quoted one time to say,
“I’ve got a theory that if you give 100 percent all of the time, somehow, things will work out in the end.”
I have to agree with Larry Bird. However, I’ve also heard it said, “Anyone can give 100%. It’s those that give even more that get it done!”
Now I know that mathematically there is nothing more than 100%. And maybe it’s the old coach coming out in me, but I believe that it’s those folks that are willing to give 110% that help us get the job done and get the job done well around Navasota ISD.
It’s those folks that go above and beyond every single day to help students be successful! They do all of the little things that it takes to make the whole organization a success as a whole!
To all of our folks here at Navasota ISD that “Make Things Happen!”...
Thank you for all that you do! Every day!
Thank you for making a difference!
We are ALL IN this TOGETHER!
GO RATTLERS!!!
