Taking it to the streets

Local first responders attended several block parties throughout Navasota Tuesday, Oct. 1, for National Night Out 2019. Neighborhoods throughout Navasota hosted the parties that included food, games and activities. Children were able to visit with first responders and had hands-on experience exploring vehicles, trying on gear and chatting with first responders. Residents were able to voice their concerns and strategize as to how they can help first responders better service their neighborhoods.
