KIRK GREGORY RICE

Kirk Gregory Rice, 57, of Iola, died Saturday, July 6, 2019.

Visitation will be held 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 10, at the Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Bedias. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, July 11, at the Cross Baptist Church in Cross, Texas. Pastor Munroe Rice will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Lake Grove Cemetery in Iola.

Kirk was born January 8, 1962 in Pasadena, Texas to parents Jim and Sue Rice.

Kirk is survived by his parents; his daughter Kirby Rice of Forney, TX; brothers, Munroe Rice and wife Leslie of Iola and David Molander and wife Holly of Conroe, Texas; sisters, Shelly Koether and husband John of LaGrange, Texas, Gina Wesley and George of Austin, Texas and Rhonda Parker also of Austin; and numerous relatives.

He is preceded in death by Monroe and Louise Rice, Adolph and Effie Yargo and Louis Gene Yargo.

Serving as pallbearers are Nick Harmon, Bubba Matthews, Scotty McKinney, Don Stephens, Dwayne Stover and Roddy McDougald.

Arrangements are under the direction of Southern Heritage Funeral Home of Bedias.
