CONROE — The Anderson-Shiro Anglers capped off their inaugural year with several teams weighing in some nice bags at the Texas High School Bass Association’s Lake Conroe tournament. The top three A-S teams’ weight was enough to capture third-place in the team standings. The final Team of the Year standings found Anderson-Shiro sitting in 11th place in the Houston Division out of 47 schools. The Houston division is the largest with 314 teams registered. THSBA has eight divisions with a total of 1,420 teams. Anderson-Shiro has seven teams, which accumulated enough points to advance to the regional tournament to be held Saturday, April 20, at Lake Somerville.
