GCRP planning candidate forums

Mark your calendar to hear from candidates of the 2024 Republican Primary. Grimes County Republican Party plans to host two candidate forums, Sunday, Jan. 14, and Thursday, Jan. 18, 2024.

There are multiple contested races for the Republican Primary including State Representative for District 12, Grimes County Sheriff, Grimes County Commissioner Pct. 1, and Grimes County Constable Pct. 3 and 4.

Uncontested races include Grimes County District Attorney, Grimes County Tax Assessor/Collector and Grimes County Constable Pct. 2.

The Grimes County Republican Party are meeting to coordinate questions that will be asked in the forum. Submit questions before Dec. 30, to Grimes County Republican Party Chairman Susan Patrick, suspatgcrp@gmail.com.
