Knights of Columbus Scholarship tourney

Tee off with the Knights of Columbus Council 9367 for their annual Scholarship Fundraiser Golf Tournament Saturday, Oct. 14, at Pecan Lakes Golf Course, 2001 Fairway Ln. in Navasota.

The 4-man scramble begins at 8 a.m. with a shotgun start. Money raised goes toward scholarships for graduating seniors from Navasota ISD and Anderson-Shiro CISD. Entry is $400 per team or $100 per player. Entry fee includes a sausage wrap for breakfast and barbeque sandwich for lunch. Deadline to register for the tournament is Monday, Oct. 9.

Plaques will be awarded to first, second and third place. Additional contest available throughout the tournament include: Par 5 Long-Drive Contest, winner receives a new driver; Par 3 Closest-to-the-Pin, winner receives a new putter; Tiger Eye Drive; and Hit the Green, Win the Green.

Hole sponsorships are available for $100 per hole and includes a personalized sponsor sign displayed at a tee box throughout the course. Deadline for hole sponsors is Monday, Oct. 2.
