Runaway teens found
HOUSTON – Two Harris County teens who were last seen in Grimes County were located safely in Houston Wednesday evening.
The two 15-year-olds, Skyleigh Marie Burnside and Lauren Limmer were located July 19, at 6 p.m.
An Amber Alert was issued July 17, by Amber Alert Network Brazos Valley. The teens were reported missing to Grimes County Sheriff’s Office and were last seen 4 p.m. July 15, at the 14400 block of Oak Hill Road in the Stoneham area.
Burns was described as a white female, 5-feet 4-inches, 140 pounds with brown hair that was dyed bright red, and brown eyes. Limmer was reported as a white female, 5-feet tall, 110 pounds with red hair that may have been dyed light green with grey/ hazel eyes.
Deputy Kern with Grimes County Sheriff’s Office said the teens are originally from the Cypress area in Harris County. They were reportedly staying in the Grimes County area for 2-3 weeks. Kern said the teens were runaways who didn’t want to listen to or live with their parents.
