Tribute to 'King George'

In Texas, George Strait is the king of country music, and ‘The King’ will be honored with a special tribute during the Bluebonnet Opry in Brenham Thursday, Dec. 15, on the Silver Wings Ballroom stage in Brenham.

This is the number one International George Strait Tribute Production in the world. Derek Spence, A Tribute to George Strait, captures the look, sound, and mannerisms of ‘The Kingof Country’insuch amazing detail, that even Texan’s have a difficult time telling the difference.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the show begins at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $8 each and are sold at the door. A portion of the proceeds benefi t Hospice Brazos Valley. Bluebonnet Opry hosts concerts every third Thursday of the month. The Silver Wings Ballroom snack bar will be open serving hamburgers, hot dogs, sodas and adult beverages.
